The world’s leading smartphone vendor Huawei will put its foldable phone Mate X in the market mid-year as planned, reported online news portal ifeng.com on Monday, citing unnamed sources inside the company.
Rumors were out that the tech giant might postpone the sale of the Mate X to September this year, said ifeng, adding that Huawei did not officially comment on this information.
Samsung, on the other hand, has canceled the launch ceremony of its Galaxy Fold scheduled this week in China, KrAsia reported on Monday. This followed multiple media reports saying this foldable phone malfunctioned during tests.
