Cloudtogo, a startup providing cloud computer and storage solutions to businesses, secured Series B financing from Alibaba Cloud.

Technology has empowered many businesses to move more of their processes to the cloud, and Cloudtogo offers customers flexible cloud-native solutions to accelerate software developer’s iterations. Not to be confused with cloud storage, cloud-native applications allow corporate developers to tap into countless APIs and enable collaborative coding.
The company’s clients hail from a variety of industries, including finance, manufacturing, and education. After focusing on expanding in southern China since 2018, Cloudtogo is targeting eastern China going forward, with a new office and sales team in Shanghai addressing clients in the internet industry as well as government customers.
Alibaba Cloud will work closely with Cloudtogo to offer more cloud solutions to clients and enhance the startup’s portfolio of services. “With the rapid growing popularity of cloud-native applications, the era of cloud development has arrived. A one-stop development platform will become a necessity. Cloudtogo has the talent pool and technical foundation to develop industry leading cloud-native development platforms, and we are very optimistic about the company’s trajectory,” said Ding Yu, head of Alibaba Cloud’s cloud-native applications.
