Shanghai Fourier Intelligence, a rehabilitation robotics startup, is set to acquire Zhuhai RHK Healthcare for “tens of millions” of yuan, according to a press release from Fourier.
Founded in 2017, RHK Healthcare builds rehabilitation departments for hospitals and trains staff to operate them, and counts 200 hospitals among its clients.
Alex Gu, founder and chief executive of Fourier Intelligence, said that “RHK can help Fourier Intelligence swiftly deploy its technology to a large number of grassroots-level hospitals in a standardized format.”
Fourier has developed a series of robots to help patients recover from mobility-related injuries, and has recently bagged tens of millions of yuan in a Series B+ round led by Qianhai Fund of Funds in May.
