CHINA BRIEF | Design software developer 4D ShoeTech raises USD 14 million in Series A+

Footwear design software developer 4D ShoeTech has raised nearly RMB 100 million (USD 14 million) in its Series A+ round led by CMC Capital and joined by Sequoia Capital China and Linear Capital, 36Kr reported on Monday.

The company, which was founded in Dongguan, Guangdong in 2017, provides pay-to-use online design tools for designing 3D digital footwear prototypes, which can increase efficiency and cut costs in shoe manufacturing.

New funds will be used to expand the company’s 3D modelling to other product categories, such as suitcases.

36Kr is KrASIA’s parent company.
