Singaporean media network TechStorm is now broadcasting in Cambodia

Singapore-based media network TechStorm has launched in Cambodia in partnership with the country’s major telco and subscription television provider SingMeng Telemedia, the company announced on Monday. With this deal, Cambodian viewers will be able to enjoy various contents in esports, tech, and entrepreneurship on SingMeng’s OTT platform channel 251 and Splus platform, starting from June 10.

“We couldn’t have launch TechStorm at a better timing by bringing positive, uplifting entertainment that everyone can enjoy and learn something new at the same time,” said TechStorm founder and CEO Debbie Lee in a statement. “We aim to play a positive part by bringing Khmer families together, during periods where we see working parents and their young children spending more time at home.”

Cambodia is the fourth foreign market for TechStorm in Southeast Asia after Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines. Lee believes that Cambodia is a promising market where many youngsters are hungry for high-quality entertainment content.

SingMeng Telemedia is a leading player offering premium family entertainment for its customers. “TechStorm’s unique entertainment value with its renowned blockbuster non-fiction hits series and top-rated fiction dramas, is a perfect mix for SingMeng Telemedia’s fast-growing subscribers who are increasing savvy and seeking good quality entertainment on digital life, technology and gaming,” said SingMeng Telemedia’s director of TV business operations Wu Liulu in a statement.

TechStorm is currently available on more than 20 over-the-top (OTT) platforms, satellite television networks, and cable network distribution, reaching 36 million viewers.
