Indonesian Point of Sale (POS) system software developer Moka is now widening its service by launching a payment aggregator named Moka Pay, per Daily Social, as the firm is looking to streamline and unite varied offline payment process and choices.
The aggregator app is designed to help small and medium-sized merchants who are already using Moka’s bespoke POS manage their daily non-cash transactions. With no additional costs entailed, those merchants will be able to use the app to manage their daily transactions from different channels, from various e-wallets to all kinds of bank cards, etc.
Moka has partnered up with a slew of fintech and other 3rd-party payment players on this, including Akulaku, Ovo, TCash, and Kredivo.
The beta app is already available on Google Pay.
The Moka Pay app adopts a freemium business model, merchants are able to use several basic services but need to pay to upgrade for new features.
Though Moka Pay is designed for SMEs, they also target larger business operators.
In addition, Moka Pay is more than just a payment aggregator. The app also comes with features to help entrepreneurs manage and develop their business at ease, from employee management, financial reports, invoice making and tracking, report monitoring for outlets in other locations, customise sales promotional programme, to many more.
Moka POS has been used by more than 12,000 entrepreneurs spread across 200 locations in Indonesia, they run a wide variety of businesses, such as coffee shop, beauty salons, barbershops, and fashion outlets.
And to help those small business owners solve their financing hiccups from time to time, Moka Pay’s developer, Moka, also offers a loan service named Moka Capital that provides small-sized loans to entrepreneurs.
